Competing with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series, Vic Hill Made the trip to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) on Friday evening for the two-day Tennessee Tipoff Classic. In a field of 26 cars, Hill locked his spot into the opening night feature with a 5th place finish in his heat race. Rolling off 14th, Vic dropped seven spots to place 21st.
Returning on Saturday night for another $10,000-to-win A-Main, Vic landed a 5th place finish in his heat positioning him 15th on the starting grid for the feature. Gaining one spot, Vic Hill posted a 14th place outing in the 50-lap affair. (Michael Moats photo)

April 14, 2018 - 6th Place Finish in Scott Sexton Memorial at Volunteer Speedway |
Friday night found Vic Hill in action at Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee) for the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals sanctioned weekend. Earning the 4th-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main via preliminary events, Hill was battling for a podium spot until another competitor smashed into him on lap-12 ending his night immediately. He was credited with an 18th place outing.
The following night at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) for the annual Scott Sexton Memorial, Hill locked his spot into the main event with a heat race win. With $10,052 on the line, Vic dropped three positions in the 52-lap affair to place 6th. (Michael Moats photo)
